Hi. I’m Yati, a freelance editor based in Malaysia.

Here I post anecdotes relating to my adventures in editing and proofreading, as well as tips on writing, editing and language in general. Sometimes I post about books.

I’m open to editing all sorts of writing, but my speciality is non-fiction books, articles and reports, with a focus on science, technology and engineering. I have experience editing reference books for the higher education sector in both STEM and the social sciences, as well as editing reference books for professionals such as accountants, lawyers and HR practitioners.

I sometimes sew and craft. My handmade collection resides at Charley Come Home, and I also sell some of my creations on Shopee and Etsy.
